Report: Blue World Pools
Blue World Pools and their Salesme.
Becky ThatcherGreenwood Mississippi
The guy ended up selling me and I gave him a check for $2,500 dollars as a down payment. He left my house that evening and the next day I got in a car accident and I knew I had a ton of bills coming up that would make me have hardships in the coming weeks. So, I decided that I could no longer afford a Blue World Pool. I talked to my Aunt Polly about this and she told me just to cancel the check, but I thought that was bad form. Against my Aunt’s recommendation, I decided to go through the paperwork to cancel.
Normally, from my experience, trying to cancel something that you purchased is very difficult. They design it that way because they don’t want to lose the sale. I worked in retail sales when I was in Community College and when someone tried to come and return something it was company policy to try to talk them out of it, or at least try to get them to get something else at the store. So I know how it goes. I called up one of their reps and asked where I should fax the cancellation forms, and she actually said that since I had her on the phone we could take care of the necessary paperwork over the phone and I didn’t have to wait to have the paperwork in. In about 15 minutes we had gone through everything and they called the bank to cancel the check I gave them (which they’d already deposited). My Aunt Polly couldn’t believe it!
